I will be teaching two photography courses in Paris from May 29 through June 30.  Both courses will be taught using digital photographic tools.  Students must have their own digital camera and a laptop computer with an image editing program such as Elements, Photoshop, or Lightroom.  Both courses offer 3 semester hours of credit awarded through Murray State University as part of the Kentucky Institute of International Study: KIIS.

Students with little or no photographic experience, should enroll in ART382, Photography 1.  Students with a good working knowledge of their camera and image editing software can enroll in Art490, Advanced Photography.

I have traveled abroad with students to Ireland, England and China.  KIIS has taken students on study abroad programs since 1975.  It was founded on the conviction that an international study and travel experience is an important part of a student’s education and should be made available to as many students as possible.   I very much enjoy helping students learn more about photography, while they experience new a new country and culture.
